each floor has ten rooms made up on the left of the building and the right. side a being the left, side b being the right. sides a & b are located directly across from each other and each apartment is located directly next to the ones listed on it's respective sides.
the enchanted is a luxury highrise hotel that was built and is owned and ran by three anonymous, powerful and wealthy manhattan witches. this building is their experiment to see if they can launch a new way for supernaturals to live and to broaden the supernatural world's hold on new york city. the building goes up 43 floors. residential apartments take up the 2nd through 42nd floors and the 1st and 42nd are for building amentities, storage and official enchanted business.
the enchanted building is completely protected by charms and spells performed by the three witches. each resident gets two gems that will grant them access to the building. these gems open one of four portals surrounding the building. a lost gem can be replaced for a steep fee, so the management suggests every resident find a way to keep theirs close any time they decide to live the premises.
apartment layouts and design this is what makes the enchanted such a unique and special apartment building. the witches have hired various covens around the city to help them charm and design the building's apartments. each space is custom fitted to the individual taste, desires, and price point of the renter. thanks to safe and secure expansion spells, spaces can be much larger than should fit using the rules of physics. electricity, water and other utitilies are also powered by magic. a 24/7 witch and wizard team are on duty for any maintenance needed.
